Out of the many classes that I've attended, this is one of the least stressfull class. For one, I don't need to have a smooth icing on d cake ( my worst nightmare ) I need only to use different tips of nozels to create different ruffles for d gown. Aleesya loves Brbie so much that I bought her most of d Barbie DVDs for her collection.. Her latest favourite is Mermaidia so hopefully by having this experience attending the class with Kak Zu (http://myhappycuppies.blogspot.com) I will be able to create her Barbie Mermaid birthday cake for her in October ;)

Oreo Cheese Cake Recipe
Today, Im in d mood of sharing my Oreo Cheese Cake recipe ;) I took it from one of d websites on d net.. So far I'm satisfied with it.. So here it goes
Oreo biscuit crumbs- 2 cups ( depending on your cake pan )
3 tbsp butter- melted
750g cream cheese
3 eggs
1/2 tube Oreo biscuits- separate its white cream
Vanilla essence
1 cup sugar
* Combine the melted butter and Oreo biscuit crumbs. Press onto cake pan. Chilled. Beat the cream cheese until smooth and soft. Add in sugar and mix well. Beat in the eggs together with the vanilla essence. Add in the white cream from the Oreo biscuit and beat using medium speed. Put in the Oreo biscuits and beat coarsely ( the more biscuits you put in the darker your cake will be ). Pour onto pan. Bake 50 minutes 180 C. Chilled overnight. Decorate using your creativity. ( Usually I will beat some buttercream and put onto cake as a base for the Oreo biscuits to stand on )

Basically this is a deco class without using the cake mould. I was taught how to cut d cake according to the shapes that I wanted.. Overall it was OK and didn't take much time in finishing d cakes. So, enjoy the pics and happy cake-ing!
