Mini Tarts

One of the things that always made us malas nak buat tart is the kulit! Recently Kak Azni from Diknie Enterprise has started to sell kulit tart plus it comes with different flavours; oreo, strawberry, plain, and the lists go on.

I took the opportunity to make some in conjunction wit the Minggu Koperasi.. The result was the girls love Oreo Cheese Tart while the boys prefer Strawberry Cheese Tart.. For now enjoy the pictures and happy baking!

Barbie Edible Image Cake Week

This week, I made 3 barbie edible image cake; one for my MIL's friend; her daughter's birthday; two for my niece, Nur Ain Saleha; one to be brought to her kindergarden and another one for family celebration. Using edible image helps to cover up all those messy icing ;b basically i enjoyed doing all these cakes; a blueberry sponge, chocolate sponge, and finally red velvet cake.

My Aleesya kept on asking where is her birthday cake each time I bake other people's cake... A long way to go, sayang.. We have to wait for October 18..

Anyways, Happy Birthday Ain and may you grow up into a beautiful loving smart daughter.

Chunky Prune Cake

17th of July 2012.. My mama's 63rd birthday.. This year I was able to bake a birthday cake for her since she's staying at my place now for the past 2 weeks wo help me around while hubby's away for work.

One major problem is Mama dislike cakes that are too sweet.. My youngest sister suggested Carrot Walnut Cake but I've made them last year.. Finally I decided to bake her Chunky Prune cake and the result; she loved it.. The topping comes from the combination of cream cheese and prune.. The funny thing was while I was baking the cake, Mama did ask me.. " Kek sape tu ? Oh, orang order " My sweet lie.. ( Susahnya nak buat kek bila Mama ada, nak buat tgh malam I pulak yang mengantuk ;b )Anyhow, I'm glad I went for the demo class organised by Kak Yusniza few months ago.
