Chunky Prune Cake

17th of July 2012.. My mama's 63rd birthday.. This year I was able to bake a birthday cake for her since she's staying at my place now for the past 2 weeks wo help me around while hubby's away for work.

One major problem is Mama dislike cakes that are too sweet.. My youngest sister suggested Carrot Walnut Cake but I've made them last year.. Finally I decided to bake her Chunky Prune cake and the result; she loved it.. The topping comes from the combination of cream cheese and prune.. The funny thing was while I was baking the cake, Mama did ask me.. " Kek sape tu ? Oh, orang order " My sweet lie.. ( Susahnya nak buat kek bila Mama ada, nak buat tgh malam I pulak yang mengantuk ;b )Anyhow, I'm glad I went for the demo class organised by Kak Yusniza few months ago.
